2014 Levels of Play

Overview

Many youth soccer leagues struggle to provide more than one level of play within their community due to coaching availability and field access. Fortunately, Napa United is proud to present our local youth soccer players with the opportunity to choose from three different developmental levels of play. Depending on the commitment of the player, Napa United will help determine which level is best for your child. Most importantly, we are sensitive to those families who are in financial need. Therefore, we offer optional payment plans and other arrangements to make sure your child can play.

Recreational (No Try-Out): $140 includes new uniform!

Your player will receive a new Napa United uniform kit each year which includes 2 Adidas Jerseys, 1 pair of shorts and 1 pair of socks. Also included is one full season of play that begins early August and ends late October or early November depending on the league calendar. There will be a Big Opening Day Event for certain ages. Note: Minimal travel for U-14 and up may be required.

Select Travel (Try-Out): $375

If your child is a multi-sport athlete and can’t commit to soccer year-round, then this is the level for them. A select travel player is ready to train, compete and commit to a level higher than recreational. The season runs from early July to November and includes 1 season (Fall) of play plus all base fees during that time. At least ½ of the games will be played out of town. Note: Additional paid trainers, paid team training sessions, tournaments and other incidentals such as bi-annual uniforms are not included in this fee.

Elite Travel (Try-Out): $375 + $150 Spring Season

This is the year-round program. This fee will include both seasons (Spring and Fall) of training and league play (if available). The Elite program is for your player that simply can’t get enough soccer. Please note due to team placement, player level and other factors, some Elite players may only play one season, but they will continue to train year-round. At least ½ of the games will be played out of town. Note: Additional paid trainers, paid team training sessions, tournaments and other incidentals such as bi-annual uniforms are not included in this fee.
